A new video series from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) aims to clarify the licensure process for new and emerging professionals. Accessible on the NCARB YouTube channel, each installment of Destination: Architect identifies a key licensure requirement and highlights what one needs to know before starting that particular part of the process.
The series is comprised of five short videos. Overview, the longest video at two minutes and 15 seconds, provides an overview of the path to licensure and how to get started. Education outlines scholastic requirements for licensure, aimed at prospective students who are in the process of selecting a degree program. Experience explains this crucial step in becoming a licensed architect. Examination explains requirements to pass the Architect Registration Exam® (ARE®). Licensure and Certification shows one how to apply for a license and make the most of a career through licensure.
