Thinkwell, a leader in the creation of experience-based
developments for theme parks, museums, casinos, retail and resort
destinations, announced the opening of Thinkwell Arabia, its newest
international office, located in Media City, Dubai in the United
Arab Emirates (UAE). It is the second international office for the
Burbank-based company which also operates Thinkwell Europa in
Barcelona, Spain.
KlingStubbins is pleased to announce that Christopher W. Ham, PE
has joined the Cambridge, Mass. office as its new engineering
design principal. His responsibilities will include providing
primary engineering leadership for Cambridge, coordinating
engineering activities with KlingStubbins' corporate engineering,
and pursuing opportunities to develop new business and expand the
firm's client base.
Perkins+Will has won the 2008 Georgia Architecture Firm Award. The
award is from the American Institute of Architects-Georgia
Association (AIA Georgia), which is one of the largest professional
associations of licensed architects and associated professionals in
Georgia.
Dennis Tanida, AIA, LEED® AP, Bill Judge, AIA, LEED AP, and Ruben
Juarez, AIA, of WWCOT have been named to the 2008 executive
committee of the American Institute of Architects Inland California
Chapter (AIAIC) during an installation ceremony held at Club 33 in
Disneyland.
Architecture and consulting firm Woods Bagot has announced the
opening of its first North American office to service the growing
interests of the firm's international clients. The San Francisco
office expands Woods Bagot's network of 14 offices currently
serving Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
