Omaha, Nebraska-based firm Randy Brown Architects completed feasibility studies, drew plans, and obtained permits, but then hit a budget roadblock. Principal Randy Brown found a solution in his University of Nebraska 2009 summer design/build workshop: students Myles Andrews, Laura Brodersen, Jamison Burt, Tyson Fiscus, Bob Kanne, Dale Luebbert, and Jason Wheeler helped make the center a built reality.
