AIA New York Announces 2014 Design Award Winners

The AIA New York chapter (AIANY) has announced 35 winners of its 2014 Design Awards. The program recognizes exceptional work by architects and designers across four categories: Architecture, Interiors, Projects, and Urban Design.

Given either an “Honor” or “Merit” award, each project was selected for its design quality, response to context and community, program resolution, innovation, thoughtfulness, and technique. The chapter received 384 submissions, which had to be completed by AIANY members, architects/designers practicing in New York, or be New York projects designed by architects/designers based elsewhere.
