BIFMA, the trade association for business and institutional furniture manufacturers, has announced a new president-elect and three new directors to its board of directors. Lynn Utter (pictured), president and COO of Knoll North America, is the organization’s new vice president/president-elect and will assume the role of president in June 2014.
The directors include Roger Arciniega, CEO of Momentum Group; Curt Pullen, executive vice president and president of Herman Miller North America; and Mark Rhoades, president and CEO of Highmark. Brian Walker of Herman Miller and Trendway’s Bill Bundy have retired from the board after years of service.
In addition, the BIFMA board of directors has reorganized into four advisory councils: Health, Safety, Sustainability & Performance of the Workplace; Information & Learning; Industry Outreach; and Finance & Administration.
