Marazzi, a leading manufacturer of sustainable Italian tile, is opening a new showroom in New York next month. The 5,000-sq.-ft. space will be located at 30 West 21st Street above NY Stone Manhattan, the city's primary resource for natural stone, and just down the block from Artistic Tile and Cancos Tile & Stone.
Since it launched in 1935, Marazzi has produced ceramic tiles that merge aesthetics with top quality materials and now offers more than 5,500 products in porcelain stoneware, crystallized stoneware and single-fired, as well as mosaics, marble, granite, and natural stones available in a range of sizes, colors, thicknesses, and surfaces. Specializing in the production of porcelain stoneware and ceramic slabs for vertical surfaces subjected to high stress as well as horizontal surfaces subject to heavy traffic, Marazzi's Tecnica tile is often specified by architects and designers for large-scale projects or buildings requiring materials that guarantee outstanding technical performance in hardness, resistance to abrasion and stains, slip-resistance, ease of cleaning, large sizes, and understated aesthetics.
The grand opening of the New York Marazzi showroom will take place on November 10 with a press preview including opening speeches by Marazzi Group's CEO, Maurizio Piglione, and Marazzi USA's CEO, Gianni Mattioli. A cocktail party will follow. For more information on Marazzi, visit www.marazzi.it/en.
