The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has shortlisted four teams of architects, contractors, and equity firms to design, build, finance, and operate the $2.4 billion Central Terminal Building (CTB) replacement at LaGuardia Airport. The project includes replacing frontage roads and a central heating and refrigeration plant, as well as operating and maintaining the existing CTB during the construction period and the new CTB for a specified term.

The CTB is slated for completion in 2019. The Port Authority has not indicated when it will choose the final project team.
