Textiles: True Textiles

True Textiles, Inc. has become the first North American commercial textile manufacturer to be awarded CarbonNeutral electricity certification. Total carbon emissions used in the production of its Terratex textile line is, impressively, net zero. All four of the following criteria were met: made from 100 percent recycled or renewable materials; manufactured using increasingly sustainable processes; made to meet or exceed industry quality standards; and are recyclable or compost-able at the end of their useful lives. Terratex is available in a variety of styles and colors, such as Angel Cake in Everglade (left).
