Architectural Products: Bendheim

Bendheim collaborated with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and glassmakers OmniDécor of Italy on the new Robert A.M. Stern Collection for Bendheim, a line of four etched glass patterns in varying levels of obscuration for installation as partition walls, doors, windows, shower enclosures, and decorative features. Inspired by the visual arts and architectural design, the patterns—Aria, Merletto, Straccato, and Trattini—are etched on both sides of the ultra-clear low-iron float glass to create dimensionality, and the permanent etched glass surfaces are non-coated and naturally resistant to fingerprints and staining. This collection is available in three standard thicknesses: 1/4 in., 3/8 in., and 1/2 in. and in sheets up to 88.5-in. by 126 in.
