Lighting: WAC

WAC Lighting unveiled two prototypes at 2009 Lightfair International that left designers chomping at the bit for samples. The OLED mini chandelier (shown here) and the OLED wall sconce are two prototypes that the company presented at this year's fair. The power consumption is 0.18-watt for each OLED. OLED is a flat light source and heat dissipation is more efficient. The panels turn energy into light instead of heat. WAC hopes to utilize this technology within the years to come.
