Carnegie has added X-Protect Barrier Backing to its Xorel line of textiles. The added protection is anti-microbial and keeps stains and other substances reaching the foam padding underneath—a real danger with any seating product. X-Protect can be applied to any Xorel fabric and meets ASTM resistance to blood and blood-born pathogens penetration. It is suitable for use in healthcare facilities.
