Lighting: Foscarini: Chouchin

The Japanese word for traditional paper and bamboo lanterns, Chouchin is reinterpreted by French designer Ionna Vautrin with a shapely blown-glass body that boasts rich yet sophisticated color. The glossy varnish renders the shade completely impermeable to light, resulting in a warm glow with an intense downlight. Three sizes are available: large (15.75-inch diameter) comes in a subdued orange hue; medium/elongated (8.75-inch diameter) is offered in olive green; and small (12-inch diameter) is a gunmetal gray.
