Gilded Cloth is a modern take on old-world, metallic-leaf elegance with the flexibility of today’s wallcoverings. Maya Romanoff’s Chicago studio applies composite silver and gold leaf by hand as blocks on a canvas backing, resembling a shimmery work of Cubist art when specified in the open style, or a dimensional monochromatic ground when specified in the closed design. The finished composition has a protective topcoat for added durability.
