Seating: HBF: Mario Ruiz CollectionAppearing as though they could have easily adorned the fictional offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce on Mad Men, it comes as no surprise that the November series was inspired by North American office interiors from the 1950s and 1960s.
Featuring a lounge chair and side table (1), a coffee table, and a side chair (3), the series was designed for HBF by Mario Ruiz (above), who leads his eponymous design studio in Barcelona, Spain. His previous collaborations with HBF include the Duna lounge collection, the Linea casegoods series, and the new Linea conference series. His product portfolio also features lighting, furniture, office equipment, and applied graphics for companies such as Dynamobel, Schneider Electric, and Steelcase.
The simple yet sculpted November series offers many mix-and-match opportunities, making each piece equally at home in hospitality and office settings. The lounge and side chairs are available armless or with upholstered or looped metal arms. The chairs may sit atop oak legs or four-star metal bases (2); the latter features an optional self-return swivel. Similarly, the 20-inch diameter side tables and 42-inch diameter coffee tables may be made with oak, back-painted glass, or solid surface tops paired with either brushed stainless steel or oak legs.
The November series is SCS Indoor Advantage certified and BIFMA level 1 certified.
