Lighting: 1" Collection by Aviad Petel

Wood finds new shape in the 1” Collection. Israeli designer Aviad Petel interprets an edgy twist on perfectionism in organic textures, delicately weaving together 1-in.-wide strips of natural wood veneer between metal slots. The light is handmade and offers a warm glow when illuminated. The 1” Collection—available in four standard versions and dimensions, including the 99" (suspension and floor) and 33" (tabletop and wall sconce)—will be on display at the upcoming Promisedesign in Milan in April 2011.
